Insurance fraud costs the United States an estimated $80 billion dollars or more every year. A cost ultimately passed on to consumers. The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud (CAIF) estimates those costs add up to approximately $950 per family.

To report suspected insurance fraud, please call FedNat’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) at 800-293-2532 and ask for the SIU Department. You can also contact the Florida Department of Financial Services Division of Insurance Fraud Hotline at 800-378-0445.
